PRESCHOOL PREP FOR AGES 3 & 4 STILL ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS
We are very happy to be joining you and your child on a journey of faith which began the day your child was Baptized. Together with you, the parents, we look forward to journeying with you over these next few years to bring your child closer to God and to foster a lifelong friendship with Jesus.
Mission Statement:
To work cooperatively with our families and parish community to provide a welcoming, nurturing, and spiritual environment for our students to grow in faith.
To journey as companions with our students and their families to build a strong foundation for a lifelong journey as disciples of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Our Program
Our classes are taught by volunteer catechists under the direction of the coordinator and pastor in keeping with the mandate and learning outcomes of the Office of Catechetics for the Archdiocese of Vancouver.
We use the most up-to date catechetical resources and present our Catholic faith using various formats and media to engage our students and in a nurturing and fun faith learning environment. Preparing our students to know, love and serve God as Catholic Christians in today’s complicated world is our mission.
We invite our families to be active participants in their child’s PREP experience in PREP celebrations and service opportunities.
Volunteering:
If you would enjoy a greater involvement, please consider volunteering to assist with delivery of our PREP program as a catechist or assistant. Training and ongoing support is provided. Please note that Archdiocese Safety Environment Policy requires all volunteers complete a screening process.
