As of today, the British Columbia mask mandate became effective. Provincial Health Authorities have recommended masks for indoor worship services. I regard it as prudent that, as in all other indoor gatherings in BC, the wearing of masks will be required when attending Mass in the churches of the Archdiocese of Vancouver. It is effective this weekend, August 28/29, if possible, but no later than next weekend, September 4/5.
All other parish gatherings indoors, such as meetings, prayer groups, PREP, etc., are covered by the BC mask mandate, and all those aged 12 and older must wear masks.
