Brothers And Sisters In (the) Spirit
St. Luke’s Prayer Group, BASIS, exists to worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We seek a personal relationship with Jesus and ask Him to activate the spiritual gifts we received at Baptism and Confirmation. By the fire of the Holy Spirit within us, Jesus opens a new desire for holiness and for service in other Church Ministries.
The Charismatic Prayer Group is part of the Charismatic Renewal endorsed by the Archdiocese of Vancouver and the Vatican under the guidance of ARC (local committee) who overseas each prayer group in our diocese.
Our prayer group meeting is wonderful vehicle for persons who love the Lord and want to enhance their spiritual experience by praying with and for other like-minded people. We meet once a week Thursday evenings at 7:30PM in Bader Hall. Our focus is praising, singing, sharing and praying for our own personal needs and those of others. Following each meeting we fellowship to come into relationship with each other. All are welcome to join us to have a Spirit-filled relationship with Jesus.
